About Me

I am a Research Officer / Instrument Scientist in the Astronomy Technology Program (ATP) at the NRC Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Victoria.

My current research interests centre around galaxies, their formation, evolution, stellar content, and the tools we need to understand them.

The majority of my research is observationally-based, with a strong interest in understanding these observations in a theoretical context, and with an eye to the next generation instrumentation required to advance our understanding.

Follow the links for more information, or contact me if you are potentially interested in pursuing projects in any of these, or related, areas.
